SSC participated in FIDAE 2012, the Air and Space Fair held in Santiago, Chile from March 27 to April 1, displaying Satellite Management and Airborne Systems, with the support from SSC
Chile members. Svante Stenbom and Pedro Ramirez held several productive meetings with space agencies and customers. Petrus Hyvönen made a presentation: "How South America improves the global performance of Earth Observation ground networks", highlighting the vital role of the new Punta Arenas site in the Virtual Antarctica concept.
